Operator credentials

Origin

From pizza delivery to BUD/S.

Jay wrestled in college. When the scholarship went away, he was delivering pizzas and hit what felt like the bottom.

One night he typed a question into Google: “what’s the hardest thing in the world to do?” The answer came back BUD/S.

He joined the Navy, earned the Trident, and stayed in Naval Special Warfare for sixteen years — four deployments, jumpmaster qualified, and a career built on showing up when it counted.

“I’m the most average Navy SEAL in the history of U.S. Naval Special Warfare.”

— Jay Morrison, on humility and service

The thesis he teaches now grew out of that: humility and service are the secrets to accomplishing anything worth doing.

Jay’s first consulting engagement after leaving the Teams was with Doug Allen and Dr. Jie Hui at T-Mobile — first on Jie’s Innovation Labs team, then on the Enterprise GPT team that trained more than 22,000 employees on ChatGPT Enterprise.

Together they shipped T-Mobile’s first ChatGPT user-intent AI plugin and a Custom GPT called “Magenta.” That work helped build the momentum and internal muscle that carried into T-Mobile’s broader OpenAI relationship and the fireside chat with Sam Altman.

It is the operator’s version of enterprise AI: adoption, trust, and outcomes — not slideware.

Private Consulting

Advisor to executives and Tony Robbins Platinum Partners.

Over the last 2.5+ years Jay has quietly advised founders, executives, and many Tony Robbins Platinum Partners on leadership, execution, and building teams that hold together under pressure.

The work is direct, private, and grounded in the same operating principles he used in the Teams: prepare the room, own the intent, rehearse the communication, and execute cleanly when it matters most.
